UofSC Aiken Wind Ensemble presents:

Survival, Loss, and Healing

Dr. Hayes Bunch, conductor

Featuring guest soloist Dr. Keely Rhodes – mezzo soprano and UofSC Aiken Coordinator of Vocal Studies – and the works of: Roger Zare, J.S. Bach, Hugh M. Stuart, Derek Bourgeois, Morton Feldman, Lee Hartman, and Steven Bryant.

The concert will center around the themes of survival, loss, lament, recovery, and healing together in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. These themes will also apply in our acknowledgement of the twentieth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Dr. Rhodes will perform the music of Morton Feldman and Lee Hartman with our UofSC Aiken students.
